Cast round, square and hexagonal resin coasters with soft translucent silicone moulds. Easy release and long lasting. Buy coaster moulds at Resin Art NZ.
What should I check before choosing this mould or kit?
Check the product details for Coaster Moulds - Round/Square/Hexagonal, including the listed design, dimensions and pack contents. Where moulds and accessories are offered as separate options, select the option needed for your project.
How do I choose a suitable casting material?
Use the materials specified in the product details and follow the casting material manufacturer’s instructions. Check mixing ratio, pour depth and curing requirements before starting; a mould’s size does not determine a resin’s maximum pour depth.
When should I remove a resin casting from the mould?
Follow your resin manufacturer’s demoulding instructions and allow the casting to cure sufficiently before removal. Curing time depends on the resin and working conditions.
They arrived in good time and look exactly as advertised. Haven't had a chance to try them yet
I brought one of these moulds and am super impressed with how clean the lines were and how easily the coaster came out of the mould.
I bought the round and it works well
Only one observation - the mould has no supporting structure ( unlike the round moulds ) and so they do not easily sit flat an a surface unless a lot of tac spray is used. Even then there is a tendency to warp.
