Finally a transparent protective oil varnish is applied to protect the gold leaf surface. It is not easy to lose color and fade, and can better protect your artwork.
Gold Leaf Application & Protection Instructions:
Drying Time After Leaf Application:
After applying the gold leaf, allow it to set for 15–30 minutes before applying any protective coating.
First Coat :
Lightly spray the first layer of gold leaf protection varnish.
Do not spray too thickly—a fine, even mist is best.
Use a cross-spray technique (horizontal then vertical passes) to ensure even coverage.
Wait Before Second Coat:
Allow the first coat to dry for 5 minutes.
Second Coat – Final Finish:
Apply a second even spray of the protective varnish.
This coat should be slightly fuller to enhance gloss and surface hardness.
Ensure even coverage to prevent streaking or drips.
The instructions are to spray two layers on the gold leaf but the bottle isn't a spray bottle so there isn't any way to do this. When I painted it on it separated on the gold leaf so this product is pointless
