Gilding Adhesive Glue for Gold Leaf Foil Sheets

• Gold leaf adhesive is a water based adhesive specifically formulated for metal leaf, You can use it with confidence without any impact

• Dilute ratio: 5-25% water.

Instructions for Use:

1. Application: Apply the adhesive evenly using a brush.

2. Dilution (Optional): You may dilute the adhesive with 5–25% water to adjust consistency as needed.

3. Tinting (Optional): Add a few drops of yellow tint if desired, and mix thoroughly.

4. Drying Time: Allow the adhesive to dry for 15–30 minutes. It will become transparent when ready.

5. Tack Check: Once the surface is clear and tacky to the touch (but not wet), it’s ready for foil application.

6. Adhesion: At this stage, the glue offers strong tack for foil to adhere effectively.

Yellow tint in adhesive shows where it has been applied. This turns clear as it dries and you are ready to gild. Normally 1-2 square metres need to use 100g of water-based adhesive.
